It's about acknowledging those parts of yourself rather than pretending they don't exist. So much of life can make people feel like they need to hide their darker side in order to be worthy of acceptance, but this song pushes against that idea. It's about understanding that pain can be something that you acknowledge within yourself, but it doesn't define who you are. For us this song feels like a statement and really encompasses the spirit of our band as a whole with catchy riffs, anthemic choruses and a heavy breakdown."
