-- COOL DOWN // LYRICS

Just leave it alone I throw down the phone You’re tripping the wire as you slam the car door right in my face So back and forth Don’t know anymore Something inside you feels like a knife that digs right in my side

Never thought it would get this bad We always said we were ride or die yeah Look, your temper is up Your head’s getting hot

You gotta cool down You better keep your cool now Before you say something you’ll regret And you can’t take it back So cool down We got too much to lose now So don’t you say something you’ll regret I know you’re seeing red

Don’t see eye to eye Who’s wrong and who’s right You’re so in your head You flipped and you made a villain instead Can I change your mind By blurring the lines Get out of the wringer I can convince you it’s not black and white

Never thought it would go so far So cold when your eyes go dark Look, your temper is up Your head’s getting hot

And there’s nothing I can do to calm you down At the point of no return with no way out

Cool down You better keep your cool now Before you say something you’ll regret And you can’t take it back

Cool down We got too much to lose now So don’t you say something you’ll regret I know you need to cool down

You better keep your cool now Before you say something you’ll regret And you can’t take it back So cool down

We got too much to lose now So don’t you say something you’ll regret I know you’re seeing red I know you’re seeing red I know you’re seeing red
